Most salons don't cater to kids. Typical salons focus on services for adults who are clear and cooperative during their visit. You can probably guess that isn't the case with kid's haircuts.

Understanding Oily Scalps
Did you know one of the main contributors to oily hair is a substance called sebum?
Sebum is excreted from the sebaceous glands that are usually attached to follicles, which is why we have a lot of them on our scalps. This oily substance is meant to coat our skin to prevent it from getting dried out as well as give us a little bit of a waterproof coating.
Sometimes our bodies produce a little too much of it which is why some of us have problems with greasy-ness. Worry not! There are ways to control excess sebum without drying your hair and scalp out.
A daily balancing shampoo is a great way to keep the excess oil at bay and still have your hair remain moisturized and supple. We suggest the Phytopanama as a great way to keep your scalp and hair balanced every day.
Phyto also makes a sebo-regulating shampoo which is a great choice for those of us that need a bit more intensive oil-regulating program for our scalps. Phytocedrat works great when you alternate its use with a daily balancing shampoo!
TIP - don't scrub your scalp to remove the oil. Ironically, stimulating the scalp promotes even more sebum to be produced. If you suffer from oily hair and scalp, try to gently wash your hair only and avoid massaging/scrubbing your scalp as much as possible.
