Most salons don't cater to kids. Typical salons focus on services for adults who are clear and cooperative during their visit. You can probably guess that isn't the case with kid's haircuts.

Protect your Hair from Heat Damage
Do you torture your hair with heat? Whether its blow-drying, flat ironing, curling, or crimping, your hair takes a lot of abuse from your styling regimen.
The most noticeable heat damage is seen in dry, brittle ends that split and often break off higher up on the strand. Those short little strands tend to stick out regardless of the smoothing products you use to tame them. This type of damage is best dealt with frequent trims to prevent the dry, split ends from damaging farther up the strand. As you can probably guess, this causes problems for those of who want to grow their hair out.
While split end treatments are good to use, they are ineffective in the face of daily heat damage. The best combination of damage-preventing products for the hot-tool addicted begins with a nourishing shampoo and conditioner. Protein rich shampoos and conditioners are a great way to strengthen your hair against heat damage. Look out for products that contain keratin. These products offer a blast of protein to get rid of brittle, breaking hair.
The post-shower product combination is very important! When your hair is damp, it is important to use a product that will offer some protection against the blow-dryer. For example, using Moroccanoil's Oil Treatment is a good way to give your hair some moisture as well as a coating to prevent your hair from becoming damaged. Make sure your hair is completely dry before moving on to other hot-tools! You don't want to be burning anything off here!
