Kid's haircuts
in 15 minutes
Do you feel like the 'mean parent' every time your kid needs a haircut?
✁ bribing your child just to walk into the salon,
✁ struggling to comfort or distract them during haircuts,
✁ apologizing to the stylist and other customers,
✁ and worrying every time their hair gets long?
We are quick & confident. Our speciality is navigating little, uncooperative heads.
We’re fast, fearless,
After 30+ years of kid’s haircuts,
As moms, we've taken our kids for haircuts too. When your kid is scared of them, it's something you dread doing. It's what spurred the start of this family-owned business in 1992.
Most salons don't cater to kids. Typical salons focus on services for adults who are clear and cooperative during their visit. You can probably guess that isn't the case with kid's haircuts.
If your child is scared of haircuts, or you just want a fast haircut, we can help you.
Sparky's salons:
☆ are a vibrant environment full of happy distractions,
❀ don't use any typical chemicals found in adult salons,
♡ have specialty chairs that keep them busy,
✄ and have stylists who work quickly, kindly, & confidently.
We’ll get you out the door in 15 mins
with a balloon and a smile. 🎈

The cold weather does a number on hair, and especially the delicate hair of our children. Here are 5 quick tips to keep you and your family's hair healthy in the colder months.
A hat is a great way to keep your hair our of the elements and protected from drying out.
Not only do split ends keep splitting, but they make detangling a nightmare. Save yourself (and your kid) from the tears of tangled hair and get regular trims.
Leaving the house with wet hair is a major time saver - I won't deny that! But, in the colder season, it can cause damage to the hair when the water freezes or gets close to it. Make sure your hair is dry when you're out and about in winter wonderland.
Leave-in oil products are great for locking in your hair's moisture and keeping frizz at bay. If you have thick and coarse hair, you'll be able to use a wider range of oils. If you have fine or delicate hair, look for a very light oil (or, even, a light leave-in conditioner perhaps in a spray) to keep hair hydrated without weighing it down.
For kid's hair, skip this and opt for using a lightweight leave-in conditioner on their hair a few times a week after their hair is washed. It'll help keep their hair moisturized, make it easier to style, and avoids weighing their light, delicate hair down with heavyweight product.
